Please consider this a temporary fix just until you can get it patched or replaced. I’m pretty sure it’s never acceptable to repair if it’s the sidewall unless it’s an extreme emergency. Even then it’s still a TEMPORARY FIX 🤔

Once the sidewall is compromised the tire is not road worthy you should know this if you deal with tires.
