That’s crazy. I rarely talk to the anesthesiologist unless required. I’m busy with my nurse, my controls, and the screen. Like doesn’t any body just do their job anymore? If there is time I chat about how’s your week how’s your family how’s the kids. Geez

Hopefully I will get a good and decent anesthesiologist in my upcoming surgery. This is scary, I want someone who will care about my well being not make fun of me or say nasty things.

I work in oral surgery, iv sedation, our Dr's will not allow pt's to have their phones in the room during a procedure. We tell them to leave their phones with family member/ride or we walk their phones back out to their ride/family if we see they have it in their pocket, etc.
