@hicarsondogss: A few weeks ago, Ann messaged me on IG asking how many dogs we had at the shelter because she wanted to provide thanksgiving meals for all of them. I told her we had around 180… & honestly, I didn’t think I’d get a message back 😂 i mean, 180 dogs? That’s INSANE. But her and her family came through for our dogs. They spent several days preparing, cooking SEVEN whole turkeys!!! They didn’t ask for help or donations. They didn’t ask for anything. They did it all on their own ….all for our dogs. For one night, our Carson doggos got a little taste of what being an actual dog feels like. No plain, hard, dry kibble ..just love, comfort, & a dinner they absolutely devoured. They even made so much food that we had leftovers, & they’re coming back this weekend so we can hand out more 🥹This was truly the best Thanksgiving our dogs could have had. Some of them are scheduled for euthanasia…so for a few, this might have been their last good mea@Simba & Caesar’s Sunshine
