In the end of Call of the Night, Nazuna falls in love with Ko. However, in this story, if a vampire drinks the blood of the person they truly love, both of them will die. Nazuna realizes she can’t control her urge to drink Ko’s blood, so she leaves him to protect his life. Ko never gives up looking for her. He becomes a detective and spends years searching until they finally reunite. At the end, Nazuna tells him, “Let’s play tag until we die.” She runs away, and Ko chases after her. They truly love each other, but they can never be together like a normal couple because getting too close could kill them. It’s a bittersweet ending where they choose to stay connected while keeping a safe distance.

can't believe some people don't realize that this is a sad ending🥺 but then again I myself dont want to believe it 😔 First off both of them are going to die. why? Nazuna refuses to drink anyone else's blood except for ko however if she does that they both die if she doesn't drink she dies and if he doesn't turn he's gonna die of old age and she's gonna starve herself and then die to join him 😔 the unsaid truth 💔

Lo triste de ver animes de romance es que, sin querer, te hacen soñar con alguien que quizá nunca llegará. Te muestran chicas tan especiales, tan únicas, que empiezas a creer que personas así no existen en la vida real… y lo peor es que, en el fondo, sabes que es cierto. Miras esos animes para sentir una felicidad que no tienes, para vivir a través de otros una historia que no te pertenece. Te apegas a los personajes, te ríes con ellos, sufres con ellos… pero cuando termina, te quedas con ese vacío. Porque tú no eres el protagonista de esa historia tan bonita, tú solo estás viendo desde lejos lo que siempre has deseado: sentirte amado de verdad. Y duele… duele porque esas emociones que despierta el anime, lo único que hacen es recordarte cuánto desearías sentirlas con alguien real. la soledad me consumirá en cada vez cuando vea cada hermoso capítulo de este anime
