many years ago grandad when out and ridged snow in a couple of fields it caught snow and there was a pretty good crop still you always need rain

I wondered if it would help freeze the ground more. Frost seems to set deeper in compacted snow so in theory it would set deeper and help break up compaction deeper ?

Under snomobiles it stays longer in the spring , we used to cover the whole 160 acres with snowmobile tracks , dad hated it . Everyone was on the field and his fields were wet still . but yields were better ??🤷

Farm crisis vs $100+K roller rolling snow. 😂 Sorry, not pointing fingers but if you look around the province there are definitely some areas of excess. Lol, anyway I am wishing for some big rains for spring & summer for our western farms!
