this wouldn't work though because once the creature is exiled it looses all equipment and enchantments, thus only removing cards that match only (exiled) card name, aka single creature

that would not work the end states "search its controller..." that would be you unless you have a way to give controllers of said creature while being equipped to the opponent

Ok, I haven’t played mtg a lot, but this seems like a weird interaction with you equiping spy kit to an opponent’s creature while you remain in control of the equipment

once the creature card with spy kit card is in exile, would the equipment property of spy kit still apply? the spy kit stays on the field and the exiled card is in another layer without the spy kit attatched at that point.

Magic is really weird. when a card's qualities need to be remembered you effectively refer to it's last time it was in a zone and targeted by something and reference that. when The End/Eradicate/etc resolves, it's exiling a creature with the names of all creatures because it's referencing what the creature was not what it is now in exile. this combo is pretty age old, it works, trust me

Fumble is a better card imo than the Magnetic Card because at worst, it’s still a creature removal spell but you can use it on your own creature and attach the equipment to anyone

if they earth bend , then you exile all the land cards in persons deck that is that same land. but they will get back the first card that was exiled because of earth bending effect.

I feel like I would rather use eradicate here like removing from game feels better than exiling since I have no idea what they might have. Just glad a combo like this wouldn’t end up working except for really rare situations in commander since that’s mostly what I play.

"exiled target creature or planeswalker." the period makes it to where that's it's own step, equip creature loses all equipment abilities as soon as they're removed from play, i dont understand others logic with layers and stacks.
