And what did the San Diego Padres get out of Cease? they couldn’t even win their own division. He is at best a number three on the rotation. They clearly were desperate and overpaid for him.

comments saying that the Padres defense was horrible and will help his ERA doesn't know baseball. those runs scored because of an error dont affect a pitchers ERA. with that said, I think its a great pick up for the Jay's but he is overpaid. Just my opinion.

Of course it’s an overpay. Jays will always have to pay a “Canada tax” to top tier free agents but what does Rogers care about a drop in the ocean? It’s a big W in showing the team and other free agents that they’re serious about contending.

Everyone just has to relax. The Jays have the resources to bring the best out of Dylan at his age. He will bring good things to the Jays in his experience. I was very happy when I heard he signed. The Jays just have to pony up the money for Bo. Fans will be upset if the team lets Bo go. We’ll see.
