The storyline was better than the 1st one but I hated the ending. I kept waiting for them to get back together and it never happened. Romcoms don’t need to be realistic 😭😭😭

Personally when I watch a romcom I don’t want a realistic ending lol. I want to escape and watch people be happy. I’m really hoping for a 3rd movie!!

Agreed!!! I liked that it was realistic. We have so many movies that end happily in spite of their issues. Someone having to maybe sacrifice more than the other. If they did that it would’ve fallen flat. Even though it wasn’t the ending we expected it actually leaves you hopeful for more than just the relationship. You want them individually to succeed as well.

I honestly didn’t except the 1st one to be good but I liked it and then I was so sure they peeked and 2 wouldn’t be as good but gosh I loooved it but I do hope we get another movie with a better ending. Long distance realistically isn’t the best and most times doesn’t work so yeah the ending was realistic but we know that already this is a movie, we need happily ever after we have enough of real life 😭
