Burna Boy was convicted (arrest in 2010) in the UK for gang-related activity that resulted in a stabbing and a death, for which he was sentenced to 11 months in prison. After his release, he failed to complete community service and instead fled to Nigeria, which led to a 7-year ban from the UK, where he was considered a person of interest in the criminal case and was reportedly held in custody before his release on parole.
