I have all bills set up in my Google calendar as a task and I mark complete once paid. I used to drink a lot and I'd pay some bills when I would be drunk, then forget and repay when sober, missing some bills, double paying others.

I don’t do this in a calendar, but I do this on a piece of paper. I list my bills out and what payday they are so it is a list instead of a calendar same exact information as here.

I use an expense binder. Same idea. I have a list of all expenses ordered by due date. I have another sheet where I list what bills need to be paid from that paycheck.
