It seems like you’re trying a lot of convenience store items and I would say that this really isn’t a great way to try authentic items from America because it’s very low quality.

I actually think a slight variation of a pumpkin pie would slap in Australia! We enjoy roast pumpkin in lots of things from salads to main meals as a side so I reckon a less sweet, fresh pumpkin not canned and toasted on top would go down well. Maybe a sprinkling of cinnamon on top before putting the pie under the grill.
