The issue in the fire was the flammable netting and polystyrene boards, NOT the bamboo scaffolding. Bamboo scaffolding has been used for centuries without issues but only RECENTLY that fires are happening due to the incorrect use of protective nettings.

HK has the most skyscrapers out of all cities in the world. they are the experts in this field. accidents happen, and we really don't need to pretend we know anything about building skyscrapers.

虽然竹棚确实不错，但是也要跟进时代的步伐，高层建筑还是尽可能采用钢架，低层的用竹棚也不错

In Indonesia we also use bamboo scaffolding, but mainly for houses and low rise buildings. Not as complex as what people in HK build.
