as a husband a friend or family member they have the right to stand around and make sure their loves one is not being abused by the officers. now however they must not impede in the officers investigation. but you can definitely stop at a reasonable distances or stand at distance so you can watch whats going on. the cops took it way too far. in part 1 why did they need to know the hotel the lady was staying if she was just driving with no lights on ? the hotel had nothing to do with rhe traffic stop
