All i see is the Fandom talk about the relationships of characters over the main plot of the show. The characters have failed to grow for me ever since season 3. Imo for the final season they should have been 19/20 instead of still being kids. the adult actors still trying to portray them as kids is painful in some scenes.

they’ve just made it more complex because if they had nothing new to figure out they just wouldn’t have a long enough season. season 1 was so simple because they didn’t have a scooby about what was happening

I’m not sure what folks are talking about - there are many other shows that have failed to stick to the landing in a way this one hasn’t yet. I’m not finding that I’m like THIS IS TERRIBLE NOW in the same way as I have done with other shows. It’s bigger, less personal, it feels more “Netflix” than season 1…but I’m still happy to watch and I feel “fed” by it

since watching volume 1 ive been blown away with excitement, ive always enjoyed stranger things but these 4 episodes have me thirsty for more, can't wait for boxing day!

I started season 5 feeling like it felt bad, not like stranger things, felt like something was missing. But I gotta say ep 3 and 4 it starts to feel like it’s stranger things again. But I will say the dialogue is pretty badly written, it feels very unnatural.

yeah Season 3 is my favourite Season, so what do I know 🤣🤣 I've really enjoyed Season 5 so far, the four episodes are high voltage the whole time, and so fun to watch! for me, worth the wait!
