This is valid, but there are also a lot of other factors for overly strict parents some parents had bad parents and are just trying to be better in whatever way they can, some love their child so much they don’t want their child to make mistakes and hurt themselves so they create so many rules (thinking that they rather their child is safe and hates them than might love them and make mistakes) but they forget that it’s better to help your child navigate life than try and stop them from making mistakes, either way we putting CCTV camera in your child’s room should be illegal

Couldn’t even go for my convocation dinner nor could i go for the picnic my set arranged at the beach (for people like me that couldn’t come for the dinner) my parents still didn’t allow me🙂..To go out with friends nko? That one seff dey (the introverted lifestyle i have and the aspect of wanting to be by myself was not by choice but because of my parents)Goshhhh i can’t wait to start working so i can move out of their house (and no not to go for wild parties but just to hangout with my friends) i mean most of my friendship crumbled because of this

The way people were deliberately teaching me lessons and me realizing I didn't even know anything outside there like being socially smart. I've learnt alot but it wasn't easy. Most times i cried and cried. The fact that not just lacking in social interactions but having anxiety is what makes the situation worse. Also I don't think parents should let introverts stay at home coz they choose to. always involve them in outdoor activities like let them just be there...it will help them in future. Nah it's so sad. I am taking it one at a time but people are cruel
