The caramel cheese went good with the cornbread crips. I also melted it on some homemade sourdough along with bacon, sliced Buffalo chicken, cheddar, and the pepper jam. it was incredible.

The ski queen cheese is so good melted on a grilled cheese with bacon and/or apple slices. It has kind of a nutty flavor like peanut butter.

The "Ski Queen" is Gjetost, a Norwegian cheese. It's great for a charcuterie board.✌

So I think that cheese is based off of “Norwegian cheese”/“Gjetost/Gudbrandsdalen”. It’s such a staple there, have had it quite a bit when skiing.

What do you use the felted wool garland for? I purchased some in years past, but I can never figure out how to use it.

Beastie’s mom :
ski queen is fabulous. the slices should be very thin. delicious on buttered toast. it’s not overly sweet at all.

kassigooch :
Ski Queen Gjetost is pronounced “yay toast” and that’s exactly what you’ll say if you slice it thinly and put it on toast. Also great with apples
