I have 2a hair and when I'm lazy I let it dry and just put hair oils in it to make it look like its not dead lol. when i try then I do the whole curly hair routine

omg jodi i just started my wavy hair journey too, mine looks similar to yours, i first brush out my hair all the way after showering, then i use elizavecca cer-100 curl cream, shea moisture coconut curl mousse, eco style gel, & &honey hair oil after the gel has dried down!! 💚

My wife uses a diffuser head on her hairdryer and she uses Curl Talk Fizz control. Her natural hair ends up looking beautiful after that.

My hair is similar. I've been following a wavy hair routine, but nothing seems to help. I realized I was treating my hair like someone with curly hair, which isn't effective for me. What really works is using leave-in conditioner and a light mousse. That's all, haha! I typically shower at night and let my hair air dry. In the morning, I spray my hair until it's damp, apply leave-in conditioner, then mousse, scrunch it. Scrunch it with cotton shirt or those microfiber cloth. When hair finish drying or use diffuser to dry then scrunch with some hair oil. Product I use Not your mother curl talk leave in conditioner and Cake the curl whip mousse.

yessss literally same!! i use a little bit of mousse and either let it air dry or diffuse - i find it gives it a little more hold and lowers the frizz!!

Okay low maintenance styling - leave it like that but when it’s like 80% air dry get some curl mouse. Scrunch it into your hair and let it air dry 🥳🥳

a mousse goes a looooong way trust me. I personally love the keune velvet cloud but next time you go to a salon ask about it they can give great recommendations (and then buy it at home for like 10 bucks cheaper)

yes literally my hair!! first i get my hair wet (not soaking wet!), then spray in leave in conditioner. i use my hands to spread it in my hair then brush with my wet brush. then i scrunch with a cotton t shirt. after that, i use a mousse (not too much!) spread it around my hair, then scrunch again with bare hands. then i clip my bangs to the side and let it air dry!

If you’re trying embrace the texture, go with a light product (mousse, lightweight serums) and scrunch while wet! If you want something between straight and wavy, look into pomades for wavy hair!!

I love the eva nyc repair line, the hair mask helps the frizz sm and makes my hair less poofy when it dries, as for curl products…no idea my hair is way curlier than yours lol!
