Good advice, you could also probably use a riser clamp and then just glue the flange at the end too

What is the reason for the 90 off that 3 x 2 wide to pick up the shower why couldn’t you just put a street 45 on it comes straight over with the trap

I use a 4x3 90 at the stool and stub through the floor 6” or so then do like you do until completion. Then after flooring I grind the riser down for flange install
