It was Eve who ate the fruit first yes, yet people misread and mistaken who’s at fault. Because Adam was actually with her that entire time, he failed at being a leader and allowed her not only eat the fruit but also ate the fruit himself.

In the bible god had a conversation with just Adam and told him not to eat the forbidden fruit, it wasn’t until after that conversation that god created eve from the rib of Adam. The serpent tempted eve and manipulated her into eating it, but because Adam also fed from the fruit, they were cast out of the garden of Eden and made to feel shame for their nakedness and actions.

In the bible god instructed Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit, he then created Eve from Adam’s rib and Adam was supposed to lead Eve so the supent came and lead Eve to sin since it knew Eve wasn’t aware and when nothing happened to Eve Adam also fed from the tree
