My ex husband did this every time we needed to have an important conversation to the point he made me feel crazy! He would change the subject, turn it around, start bringing up my faults or short comings. I never understood why until I started therapy alone!

Literally just ended a friendship because of this. It is so infuriating to always have something flipped around, turned on you or completely disregarded and they make it about themselves and how you did them wrong by bringing up the issue.
