My docs understood the assignment and wrote a long letter to the judge explaining exactly what accommodations I would need & how much time off i would possibly need. BTW I have spinal degeneration in addition to hEDS that has required over 8 surgeries in the past 10yrs with more to come as it continues up & down my spine and is now affecting my hips & pelvis area. I was also recently told it is affecting my digestive system & im going to have to address that issue now. SSID has continued my disability every yr without fail thanks to my wonderful docs who understood the challenges!!

My doctor wrote for me to be off 3-4 times per month for my medical condition and they approved that through hr for a while and now despite the paper work they will only let me miss 1 day per month now. Idk what to do…

My doctor happily wrote a letter saying how my condition affects me and keeps me from working. She’s the best and has been there for me for the last 4 years of my long Covid. I won my case with that and the grid rules for just turning 50. It took two years and two applications. I lost my back pay, but at least I have income now. I was approved on a Friday and got paid 3 days later on a Monday for SSI then it’ll be SSDI in 4 months.

I have so many cases where the doctor is writing the letter that the person is disabled, but SS is denying them 🤔 some appeal and still get denied :/ so no all is about the doctors it’s also about SS not giving you the approval

Most specialists don't do disability paperwork. My asthma specialist said she only does fmla & I told her its basically the same concept but she still wouldn't do it🤷🏾♀️
