I feel like the coaching saying well we aren’t 5 Koreans didn’t help either. I feel like both inspired/bwipo needed to communicate better with their teammates, but also felt like they did more coaching than their coaches.

Busio in the doc made the point that these internal issues were things they should’ve discussed months ago. Often times burnout can come from small problems going unaddressed, and that can snowball into something like the viral NPC moment everyone has now watched. Takes a really strong leader to diagnose problems like that early and put them on the table to discuss.

Inspired is absolutely being quite toxic there and thats is no way to talk to other people. But at the same time, if he has spent the last several months micromanaging everyone and point out what they are doing wrong, trying to get them to improve and they are still doing it, that is just asking for a blowup. Toxicity isnt just being loud and mean, it can also manifest in people not taking personal responsibility and understanding what their role is in certain games. Inspired looks bad here, but the other guys +coaches are also complicit, even if they didnt call people npcs.

Stop using the word toxic, getting your ass chewed by your team captain for under performing is not toxic. That is the reality of being in a high level sports team, if you think Michael Jordan or Tom Brady or any legend of their game didn’t ride their teammates like that well idk what to say

Yeah Inspired is an incredible player but the “helpful attitude” that taught Jojo the game is the same one that ruined Danny. It’s a double edged sword for sure but I think it’s also dangerous to frame it as burnout.

It's surprising that things like this aren't dealt with in top teams still. Feel like these have been issues since League started. Tho I see it happening in the NFL with the Eagles so guess not that surprising.

Inspired has the curse of being too gifted. A really intricate psychological vortex happens around him because of it. He is so good at the game and sees all possibilities from every lanes perspective that when the players themselves cant see it like him it eventually creates frustration. He has to accept that reality and learn to treat his teammates in a way that encourages growth despite him being a savant. Most humans will wilt and go silent under the passive aggressive aura of knowing that he has. He has done incredibly well despite it all tho, for comparison i believe dardoch actually is very similar. We all know how that went. The curse of being more gifted and at the front of the pack is a hard burden to carry well. He either needs to go play for a top Korean team or continue doing the internal work to understand how he can help those who arent as gifted as him flourish.

thats why t1’s exodia roster of ZOFGK is the greatest team of all time, home scouted(except for keria), after so many losses in game 5, lost to dk worlds 2021, lost to rng msi 2022, lost to gen g lck summer 2022, lost to drx worlds 2022, lost again to gen g spring lck 2023, 3rd place msi 2023, summer lost to gen g again, so many losses, but they conquered that and didn’t break when it matters most, won 2023 2024 and ofc with a dif top laner, still did it 2025 even if they lost ANOTHER game 5 to gen g, so it really takes a great team to move on from losses

Everyone is now understanding the difference between the best and the rest. Faker does it all. Helps coach. 1v1s his teammates before games so they are comfy on a champ. I’m sorry but being a leader doesn’t have an “off switch” rest of the world will suck until the mindset shift swaps. If you don’t want to do the things a leader needs to do get out of the team simple as that!

Dude, listen, theories and speculation is cool for sports, but you did two things here which hurt the sport. First, you brushed past the toxicity as if it was a little crash out. Secondly, burning out is not just a light condition, and you can't just go around assuming someone is burnt out because it fits your narrative. Let public figures have their own lives and narratives and do not normalize toxicity. You've been in this sport for over a decade, you know better than that.
