What causes the shells to pile up like that? Are they dumped there by high tides?

You do what most people need to actually do, stop and actually look at the seashell/stone, look at the colors in the light it makes it all 10x more enjoyable if you actually look at them.

Uk here, we get tiny tiny cowrie shells occasionally, I’d love to be able to find a big one. Also, I occasionally find moon shells!
