guys, the vampiric elements are there but he's not one. the companion's called "silverwing fiend". sylus being a dragon in his 2nd myth and vampire-adjacent in this one makes sense when you consider the history: vlad ii, father of dracula, was part of the "order of the dragon" and his name "dracul" literally means devil/dragon. his title in his last myth was "archfiend sovereign", sylus is, at his core, a fiend in every lifetime. it just takes on different forms, he's an embodiment of evil or fear.
