@jessandmiketouraotearoa: TRAVEL DAY BEFORE TOUR AOTEAROA BEGINS 🚲 Today started bright and early at 5am. Unfortunately it was not as smooth and easy as it looks!! Jess got a full pat down by airport security… luckily they let her pass 😉. Then our flight was delayed for 3.5hrs which in turn pushed our plans back quite a bit. The moods were down in the dumps when arriving in Auckland as our van also was delayed for another 2hrs. But eventually we were on the road 🥳. Spent the afternoon prepping our bikes, grabbing our last bits of gear and heading on our 5 hour drive to Pukenui. The excitement finally set in after dinner. Bring on tomorrow!!
