He messed up when he bought land there, specifically. They are abusing their power by forcing this. Everyone is entitled to safety and privacy. I hope he has enough to buy land, elsewhere.

IDK on this one. I hate and disagree with all the HOA shit but it the dude bought land that was already in a HOA zone that's on him. If someone buys land in a area that isn't in a HOA area then ppl try to set one up I would argue against it but if a dude buys land that's in a HOA area dude needs to abide by those rules.
