never let it idle after pull starting on choke without pressing the throttle once!!! the choke makes it drive at a slightly higher rpm than regular at idle which throws out the clutch counterweights and gives friction to the clutch hub. once you hit the throttle once the choke goes off and it idles at a lower rpm. i know this because my Stihl burned up from idling for two minutes. dont full throttle your saw just 30 seconds after initial startup. you'll wreck your saw within the season this guys knows nothing.
