This is why I’m so tired of “Bring back [year]!” “Bring back [style]!”, I’m not against it but all anyone wants to do is go backwards. You can bring it with you as you move forward, reminiscing isn’t bad but to this point it’s insufferable and we’re getting nowhere w it. Idk how to even explain it but it’s like a clot in society and it’s so plastic. You can’t bring it back once you’re aware of it, the beauty of those years and styles is that it was authentic and the thoughts weren’t “This is so the year I’m living in rn”, it was “This is me, I like this.”. Idk bru, it’s about time we look forward to new things. People need to create more rather than renew sometimes.
