🌿🤎 WALKING WITH GOD — FAITH BEYOND SUNDAY MORNING DAY 1: WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN TO WALK WITH GOD? 📖 Micah 6:8 (KJV) “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Good morning, Sisters! 🌸 Can I ask you something? When you think about walking with God, what does that actually look like in your life? Is it going to church on Sunday? Reading your Bible? Saying your prayers before bed? Those are wonderful things. But walking with God goes deeper than simply having Christian habits. Think about it this way. You can walk beside somebody for miles without ever really getting to know them. You can be close enough to hear their footsteps but never have a meaningful conversation. And sometimes, Sisters, I wonder if that’s how we approach our relationship with God. We know about Him. We believe in Him. We attend church and listen to sermons. But are we allowing His Word to change how we live? In Micah 6, God’s people were being reminded that outward religious offerings could never replace a heart that genuinely honored Him. God called them to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. And that still speaks to us today. Walking with God means seeking His guidance when decisions are difficult. It means showing mercy when we’d rather hold a grudge. It means obeying His Word even when our feelings are pulling us in another direction. It means recognizing that we need His grace every single day. And no, Sister, it doesn’t mean we’ll always get everything right. There will be days when we’re impatient, distracted, discouraged, or struggling to trust Him. But our hope isn’t in our ability to walk perfectly. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, who saves us by grace and teaches us to follow Him. Walking with God isn’t a Sunday morning activity. It’s a daily relationship that changes the way we live. 🌸 A QUESTION FOR YOUR HEART: Am I truly growing in my relationship with God, or have I become comfortable simply going through the motions? 👣 TAKE A WALK WITH HIM: Today, read Micah 6:6–8. Ask the Lord to show you one area where you need to walk more humbly, act more justly, or extend more mercy. Then take one small step of obedience. 🙏 A PRAYER FOR THE JOURNEY: Heavenly Father, teach me what it truly means to walk with You. Forgive me for the times I’ve allowed religious routines to take the place of a growing relationship with You. Help me to love Your Word, follow Your ways, and live out my faith in the ordinary moments of every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🤎 SHE RISES REMINDER: Don’t just make room for God on Sunday. Walk with Him every day. 🌿 She Rises Designs by Danielle #WalkingWithGod #SheRisesDesignsByDanielle #FaithBeyondSundayMorning #ChristianWomen #DailyDevotional
