an idea: silent cinema... everyone gets big over the ear headphones, noise cancelling , you get to pick how loud your headphones are. everyone can enjoy whatever snacks they want and no one's experience is ruined!!

I disagree that it’s a kids film. Kids can enjoy it, but it’s not written for 5 yr olds and my screening was full of board badly behaved kids. And badly behaved parents.

i have this with musical films !! people think it’s okay now to scream along with the songs and it annoys me sooo much. if you want to sing, go to a singalong. i want to watch the film

It’s not you - it’s them!!! Theatre is even worse!! So many people just don’t get it - fully gorging themselves on the loudest snacks throughout and having full on conversations. Absolutely no awareness of the impact on anyone else. Spoils it completely for me. Nightmare!

I would die. I do wonder if this is a bigger issue in the UK. The only time I’ve seen rowdy kids having to be thrown out of the cinema, it was in a Welsh cinema but I realise that’s super anecdotal evidence so idk.

Why do people do that it ruins it for everyone else who’s paid good money to watch the movie … I love the cinema experience but this stuff can ruin it for me so would end up complaining and getting tickets to watch it again

you'll learn when you get a bit older that any film you HAVE TO see, you're better off going 3 or 4 weeks after release so the masses have gone and you see the film with like 10 other people in the room

My pet peeve is when kids BOUNCE down the steps to leave to go to the loo… all you can hear is “boom boom boom boom!” 😒

People seem so much more selfish these days. There is no consideration for others. If i open a fizzy drink i’m waiting for a loud part to cover the noise of the fizz when opening.

oh my god I’ve found this recently too! No genre is safe - we’ve seen Scream, The Monkey, Oppenheimer etc and every.single.one is full of people with no self-awareness or care for others?? WILD.
