I had the surgery called ReLEx Smile. My eye recovered fully to 20/20 by day 3, it’s now 5 years and I had no dry eyes, no pain, nothing. It was as if I never needed glasses. I never knew LASIK had such complications

I had lasik 10+ years ago and still have 20/20 vision with no issues…. If I had known the risks at 18 I would have NEVER done it.

I worked at an office. I asked the dr “would you recommend lasik?” He said “I have to say yes but if you ask me if I’d let my wife get lasik? No. I would not let her. Just wear glasses”

Old military surgeon told me to drink a lot of water with a pinch of salt, avoid alcohol or caffeine, and sleep early leading up to the surgery. I never had any issues nor anyone in my family who followed this advice. The only who has dry eyes after LASIK was my alcoholic uncle.

Yeah, so if you see doctors with glasses, no implants, no plastic surgery yet they rake 4x your salary... you can just skip it.

no one in my family who's gone through lasik including me has said negative things about it though, i personally just feel dry but I've had dry eyes before surgery as well so idk

Had mine done in 2010..still have 20/20..At eye tests opticians have told me I'm a good case study for getting lasik.

the only reason that convinced me not to do lasik is the fact that most doctors in my workplace refused to undergo that procedure

My friend had it, and she has to do the eye drops all her life she said. I refused to do it too, I think my specs looks good on me. 😂

The vast majority of lasik cases still have no problems. Social media is designed to show you things related to you. That’s why everyone who had a bad experience sees the same video and comments.

I was planning for years to do lasik/smile but i did some research and alot of ppl got good results but some got really horrible dryness for years that doesnt seem to recover, and honestly I didn't want to risk so i decided that im gooood.
