Idk how, but I’ve trained all mine to let me sleep until noon if I want- I have auto feeders for the cats, but the dog literally won’t get out of bed early if I do- 10 am is his earliest.

My one cat gave me until 7:40 then she came to the side of the bed and angrily yelled "Neowww" which I assumed meant NOW. Then she stormed off to the kitchen to wait for me. If it's my other cat's turn to wake me, he stands on me and then pretends he's trying to resuscitate me.
