There needs to be an urgent inquiry into the whole Australian building industry- changes need to be made but more importantly, people need to be held accountable: the builders, certifiers, council/govt body must pay for rectification or rebuild

People paying hard earned money to build a home and getting absolutely ripped off. It’s not the overseas phone calls you have to worry about these days. And that's why I would rather buy a previously occupied house and have it inspected before buying. Seems a lot safer to do it that way than getting a new house built.
