Ouch this hits close to home. I consider myself a very intelligent woman however have dealt with those kind of men in the past. You hit the nail on the head when you said that they seek out those that nurturing. I work with individuals with special needs, brain injury, mental health issues and addiction so yes I have a big heart. I am now of the mindset where I tell people not to mistake my kindness for weakness. My boundaries are far more clear than they used to be. I think one of the most important things is that those that have been hurt and taken advantage of do not put all men in that category or make others pay for something someone else did.
