Socials 100% delete. Personal just depends on the person you’re with. My wife didn’t like that I had photos, so I let her delete everything she didn’t like. My forever matters more than my past 🤝

I have bad memory. Deleting photos is actually deleting my ability to remember. I delete all romantic photos. But some photos I’ll never delete

It depends. If it was just a mutual break up because you decided you weren’t the right fit, I see no reason to delete them at all. Those are memories in your life. But if it was an ugly breakup, then probably asap.

i delete them off my socials in about a week in case things change that feels disrespectful to my next partner, i delete them off my phone too but i save them onto a external hard drive or ssd if i ever want to look at them bc that was a part of my life i wish to cherish but not something i need to be reminded about everytime i open my camera roll

I deleted off socials maybe a month after? I wasn't talking or looking for anyone else at that point. Deleted all pics of her and us together in my photos about 3 months after because I found myself ready to move on. I appreciate everything we did together but I don't think it's fair to a potential new girlfriend

It all depends, I don’t go searching for them or spend any time looking at them, but some relationships were a big part of who I am now and it’s still a memory whether good or bad. Seeing an old photo will just be a reminder of the progression I’ve made throughout life and the feelings I felt or overcame at the specific time.

Deleting photos on socials is def a must for me, I wouldn’t want someone I want upset for someone I truly no longer care for. Personal albums is definitely a harder one for me that’s for sure
