not necessarily a recommendation of a place to go but the app ‘grab’ is a must, it’s basically the uber for over there and it is soooo cheap! if your not going to have a car it’s the easiest way to get around! also in malaysia little side street restaurants will have the best food ‘nasi pataya’ is a must to try!

In Kuala Lumpur I’d really recommend Batu Caves, Central Market, Brickfields and Thean Hou temple. The Petronas twin towers or the KL tower are lovely too! If you have time, it’s fairly easy to get to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore was definitely the highlight of my trip x
