awesome movie, one of my top 5 scifi/horror. the prequel was good, it was just missing the 80s feel, I enjoyed the insane animatronics of the og. I would like to see a sequel tho, maybe a town or something, the military has it contained and is experimenting on the the townsfolk, but it gets out leading to another sequel, city wide. the town movie...or series... could be a guess who kind of thing. you'll never know who's the thing until the very end, when it drives out of the town heading toward a major city. the one thing that still throttle my brain is what the things actually agenda is. all we nlknow is it assimilates and copies. to what end we still dont know. what was the purpose of it commandeering a ship and coming here? was it made on the ship or what? I love the fact we will never know probably.
