Went to see a Pallas cat at the zoo once. Small lil girly, loved her little enclosure. Dark space, very cute. She either was in a mood or didn’t like the doodle on my shirt cause she got real low and then LUNGED at me. Had the glass not been there my face woulda been a goner! Best moment ever :)

Despite their domestic cat look, Pallas's cats have round pupils (like big cats) instead of vertical slits, which is an adaptation for the open, dimly lit environment of dawn and dusk! And they are the oldest living cat species!
