Nach meinen Erfahrungen sind es meist die Kondensatoren, die mit 30-50kHz betrieben werden, die ein hohes ESR erreicht haben und getauscht werden müssen. Selten sind es auch mal die Anlasser-Widerstände, die zu hochohmig geworden sind. Gleichrichter oder Siebelko waren es noch nie.

u forgot to check for bad solder connections.Hard to tell just by looking an putting leads on devices can make connections look good.

Testing transistor while connected on board can give you misleading results sometimes.
