I feel we have this idea that being in a relationship is the most important thing. I feel like when it comes to dating we put to much thought into it dating like they did like me how long do I have to wait to text or call them/ what do I say or text without sounding corny & desperate etc etc . Dating should be like should we hangout go somewhere you don’t dress up I believe when you see a person dress up like they would normally you might see their real selves then straight away before depart say straight away I liked that that was fun do you want to hangout again tomorrow if they say not sure then just that’s call take a 2-3 days that’s cool I think a friendship should come first then love before anything serious:

It should feel natural and NEVER forced. From my experience, I never needed to chase when someone was into me. Fast forward.. in my my 40s and happily married for almost 2 decades.
