I'm 23 (turning 24 in March🥲), but I've been homeless, got my own place and a job, joined the army, left the army, went to trade school for HVAC, didn't find work, then went back for welding. Now I'm in another state welding while pursuing my bachelor's. I don't have a car, no house or apartment anymore. I feel so behind my friends, who are married, have a family and kids, and their own house. But I keep reminding myself that this is still only the beginning of MY story.

Just turned 23 and have no idea what I want to do or what’s going to happen in my future. I do know that I am fortunate to have a family that loves me, and have passions that bring out my creativity. I will find a job, drive a car, and possibly have the life I always imagined, but I won’t feel guilty for living the life I chose to live now.

it's crazy that i watched this movie at 13. 10 years have passed now... and during these 10 years i have never once stopped thinking about this movie. it was for sure the peace of art that i've consumed that left the biggest impact on me. this month, at 23, i started my first corporate job after finishing my college education. funny right?
