Back in the late 70’s me dad ‘fixed’ a serpentine belt in the middle of nowhere in the desert heat with a pair of my moms pantyhose on our way to Texas just to get us to the next town. I learned everything I know from my shade tree mechanic dad. My last ‘breakdown’ was from field mice chewing the wires of one of my injectors. Found an amazing shop that refabbed a wiring harness. I’m thankful for small town mechanics that aren’t all about corporate $$$! 🙏🙏
