Yes they’re fundamentally different crafts and they have different vibes and strengths and that’s why I love being able to do both and switch it up to achieve the mood or result I’m interested in! The idea that ppl treat it like a competition stresses me out 😅 let them coexist and be different

Same here, I love them both for different reasons! I've been crocheting for almost 14 years so I can easily imagine something and make it happen. I've only been knitting for about 4 years so I feel like a still have a lot more to learn and get comfortable with.

I’ve been knitting for 8 years and I love it, I need to follow a pattern. For me quilting is the one where I design and know ins and outs. Love them both for different reasons. That’s the best part of crafts!
