What would happen if you tell those kids the truth about the dangers of the world? Is it good or bad? Dangers of bullying, stranger danger, neglectful parenting, alcoholism, depression, physical abuse, social media... stuff like that. Imagine when they are older, then you understand the message and the moral lesson behind it

I was born in 89 and grew up in the 90’s and this was my mom all day. That’s why our generation was the last of a dying breed. Today’s generation is weak unfortunately. I’m glad I had old school parents because my son is learning the morals, respect and strength I learned.

My mum says to my kids, why are you crying? if your bleeding then come crying otherwise go outside, so my kids now tell there friends dont go to my mum she'll ask if your bleeding if not carry on 😅

Back when many kids have dealt with those things, such as mental health struggles. Some had no friends in school because they thought you're anti-social and different. Or having low self-esteem and anxious to fit it with other kids and teens around your age. Yeah, that was harsh especially when you're lonely

Back when parenting is all about caution, rights and wrongs, guidance, warnings and dangers of the outside. It's about "think before you act" or "hurting others is wrong". Nowadays, they just give them kids a touchscreen iPad and brainrot instead which is... ugh, too much overstimulation
