I understand your pain. I have severe asthma as well and I’m not a wheezer so many docs doesn’t pay attention to me sometimes until i crash! I’m on two biologics, trelegy, budesonide, prednisone , had bronchial thermoplasty and still have to go to the ER constantly to be admitted. I’m being sent to Duke for a consultation for lung transplant next week to see if I’m a candidate 😞

I was told my daughter has viral asthma.. we moved out of our house and she has gotten sick several times without needing an inhaler.. turns out she is sensitive to MOLD. 😫

ooh, my daughter from birth to age 16. then our city got a new asthma specialist and he was horrified at what she was going thru. one shot every month instead of 3 pills, 2 inhalers, an epipen and still poor controlled symptoms.

SABAs are for short term airway obstruction or bronchospasms and not maintaince. LABAs, LAMAs, or even ICS are used for that.

Chronoc asthmatic here. Apparently you will need both inhalers (relievers and controllers) and leave nebulization optional.

10 weeks of steroids and Antibiotics for “pneumonia” before referring to a specialist just to be told my lungs were collapsing leading to 2 different stays in the hospital 😝 .. all at the age of 5 😑

I have severe asthma and have your home checked for mold if it progressed suddenly. I was on two inhalers, steriod oral meds, and breathing treatments until we found mold at our old townhouse in our hvac intake. We moved and it instantly got better.
