Just a heads up for next time this is super common with TV/VCR combos that haven’t been used in a long time. When a VCR sits unused, the internal parts can get stiff or dirty, and the first tape run through it can get chewed. It doesn’t mean you did anything wrong. A good tip is to run a VHS cleaning tape first (or clean it before testing) mabe even buy a cleening tape first and take it with you to test in the store so it doesn’t grab a real tape. These old machines usually just need a little maintenance before being used again 🙂

never use the VHS built into a TV because if there ever breaks the TV itself will not work you cannot change the input back to coax or rca

at one point. you will accept the big back bitch crt tvs into your life. especially when you get an hdmi one lol. saves your ass when u wanna stream in hd but also use vhs
