Using Ai to summarize books is really telling bc Ai is actually REALLY BAD at it. It cannot read the books so it tries to find online references to characters and contents of the books, but it often gets it wrong.

I was already put off by his "so you don't have to" opener, supporting this trend of speeding through cliffs notes as an actual replacement to enjoying great works of fiction yourself, but the way he just never once comes off like he actually cares whatsoever about what he's talking about despite allegedly reading and creating tons of content about it is just too deeply uncanny. I've noticed a lot of these AI dopes aren't just cripplingly uncreative and unknowledgeable, but uncaring, just piecing together chunks of lore and data but blind to the point of it all, how it actually makes us feel

How do I know this is AI? No human, so invested in the Dune franchise that they read every book in the official and unofficial series, would ever say 'I read it so you don't have to.' Because they're obsessed with it, and they want you to be as well.
