Im confused, my parents, even after I figured it out would just say "if you dont believe you wont receive!" and then you keep getting older, you know the truth, they know you know, and its still just fun. No need for some big conversation? lol

My son 10, asked me if Santa was real, I said “are you ready?” And I told him the truth, and he said “So you bought all those presents over the years?” “Yes baby with some help.” “You really love ME THAT much!?” 🥺🥹❤️💔😭 Yes baby I do! And I always will.

Santa is absolutely real. The tooth fairy elf everything is real. It just looks different. The magic was real it just was provided by you. You are Santa, tooth fairy, elf. You are real therefore it was all real and not a lie. Just explain to them that it was all real and special it just was presented in a fun way.

I believed until 13 years old. The magic of Christmas left after I was told the truth I was devastated. So as long as my babies will believe I’m gonna let them. If I can get them to 13 I’ve done well. We’re at 1,7& 9

I just kept going until they told me it wasn’t real. So I guess maybe that helped? Not sure. But I still will say Santa is coming and they are 18 and 21. And they just go along with me lol. I hate this for you guys.

my parents never told me the truth. Just well its your choice to belive but if you dont he might not bring you anything. they never told me be wasn't real. I just figured it out. im not for lying to children but in this instance its best to just keep going

No hate at all, this is why we don’t do any of these in our house. We never wanted to have to lie to them. My husband was so hurt when he found out about Santa so we just don’t do it. They will be ok and understand some day ❤️
