alot of the time not even Koreans fit Korean beauty standards. theyre widely unrealistic according to netizens. even very pretty people like the prettiest idols still face backlash and scrutiny over their features. plastic surgery should never be so normalized in any society imo but its bcs of the standards for beauty, its almost unattainable without it

i think it also has to do with body proportions? for example if you have wide shoulders your face automatically appears smaller then if you have more narrow shoulders
