I've actually had this argument in class, in the end it really depends on who wants you and who you want. because, what if the person who wants you doesnt end up to be a good person? atleast when you choose who you want you can be sure that this is the person that you *want* and, you can choose. there'll only be few people who actually seek you for marriage or for the rest of their life unless you're y/n or somt, in the end, even if they dont want you back you still have other options, other futures.

Choosing the one who you don't even want is basically just forcing yourself to "love" somebody you don't even actually love; you're just forcing yourself if you actually do (Depends), and if you're only doing that because you want to experience a relationship, that's just not love. Love goes two ways, if the other one is missing it doesn't feel like how love would actually feel like. /pos
